IV Conscious Sedation

IV conscious sedation involves administering medicine through an IV directly into your bloodstream.  You are able to follow commands and are able to breathe on your own.  Another person comes into the office to administer the medicines (versed and fentanyl) and continuously monitors your vital signs.  Under this level of sedation you will not remember the procedures, and it works well for longer smile makeover appointments or for people with severe anxiety related to dental work.
